FILM SYNOPSIS

"The Sea & She" is a coming-of-age documentary about award-winning community servant Sunny Kazama, a young surfer from Hawai’i, balancing competition, identity, and advocacy. Discovering her voice, purpose, and connection to culture, she makes history in helping Hawai’i become the first and only state in the U.S. to adopt surfing as a high school sport.
